Emma Corrin Will Be Starring as Cassandra Nova in Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3
Actor Emma Corrin who played Princess Diana in Netflix’s historical drama The Crown is ready to play a villain in Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3. They are sealed to give a tough time to the Deadpool 3 superheroes played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
You will see Emma playing Cassandra Nova in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, as hinted in Daniel Richtman’s tweet earlier.
In this Tweet, Daniel paired Emma’s picture with Professor X’s gif captured from Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. While his Tweet led fans to speculate about Emma’s role, a Deadpool informant quickly decoded the news, confirming that Emma Corrin will play Cassandra Nova in Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3.

After Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy saw Emma’s performance in a stage production of Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, he cast Emma as the villain.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, when Emma was asked what do they think about playing a villain role in Deadpool 3 and joining the multi-verse, which is new to them, Emma replied-
“I’ve watched Spider-Man and Black Panther. I was like, ‘Look, you’re gonna have to debrief me into this’. It’s such an intricate world. There’s so much to it. It’s an absolute mind-f**k. All the language and the Easter eggs, and this person is related to that person who did this, and this person came back and this person’s dead… it’s amazing. I really understand why it means as much as it does to so many people. It’s a phenomenon, and I feel really lucky to be part of it, especially Deadpool because I love the fact that it’s self-aware, and critical of its own inner workings,” they said.
Further speaking about their antagonist role in Deadpool 3, they added- “I feel really excited to play a villain. I haven’t done that, and it’s an itch I want to scratch.”
