The Loki season 2 trailer is set to arrive on 22nd July, say reports. The first video clip from Loki season 2 will give a fresh look at Tom Hiddleston’s character and what else we can expect from the limited TV series.

The Marvel comic-based series is three months away from its OTT release and will begin its multi-verse journey this October. Tom Hiddleston will return in the titular character Loki in a time-variant form.

Sophia Di Martino will also reprise her role as Sylvie, another Loki variant who messed with the timeline to create multi-verse space. More cast and characters are finalized to be a part of the Marvel series, and we shall disclose all of them in the article today. 

After Loki, Thor’s adopted brother made his MCU debut in the 2011 movie Thor, fans fell in love with his character despite standing in a negative frame. 

After that, he kept appearing in the next MCU flicks The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. But it was specifically his standalone series Loki that left his fans wanting more. 

And now, when Loki season 2 is finally making its way to release in October, all Loki fans are curious to gather every small update about his series. Interestingly, Popgeek has learned an exciting update on the Loki season 2 trailer, which can release two days after the SDCC premiere.

According to reports from a renowned Marvel Source, Loki Season 2 trailer may release on 22nd July, glimpsing the series coming in October. The Loki season 2 trailer is one of the most awaited announcements every Marvel fan is waiting for.

The trailer, expected to be released on 22nd July, can bring a short glimpse of Loki’s journey, who, after stealing the Tesseract, is forced to work with the Time Variance Authority to eventually find three missing trios, Miss Minutes, Sylvie and Ravonna, Renslayer

More cast and characters are likely to join Loki’s journey are Gugu Mbatha as Ravonna, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter-15, Eugene Cordene as Casey, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, Ke Huy Quan as Time Variance Authority archivist, and Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius. 

Reportedly, Owen Wilson, who will play Mobius in Loki season 2, was blacklisted by Marvel for revealing his character has a mustache in the TV series. And if the news is true, we may see it in the Loki season 2 trailer. 

Earlier, on 18th June 2023, another Marvel fan-run page, Deadpool Updates, claimed that the first official trailer for Loki season 2 would premiere during the San Diego Comic-Con event in July. And, since the San Diego Comic-Con event is running up from 20th July to 23rd July, possibilities are higher than that we can expect to see the Loki season 2 trailer before the final day of the comic book convention. 

Loki Season 2 will stream on Disney Plus from 6th October 2023. The Tom Hiddleston TV series will be a compilation of six episodes, much like its previous season. And like maximum Marvel projects, Loki season 2 will also pick Wednesday’s slot to stream every new episode on a weekly basis. Each episode will get a runtime ranging between 55 minutes to an hour allowing the fans to spend enough time with their favorite characters.

As Loki season 1 proved to be the winner of fans’ hearts, season 2 is also expected to do wonders as soon as it streams on Disney Plus. The maximum number of episodes of Loki season 2 is directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, including the series’ first and penultimate installment. Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani have also served the directing duties. While writer Eric Martin penned the story and dialogues of the character for all of the episodes, Katharyn Blair also co-wrote the series’ fourth and finale instalment. So, we can hope for a good Loki time again.
