Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Fuels its Thrilling Adventure with Memorable Characters and Good Story!
One of the strengths of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 movie is the bonding between the characters, which has grown after the past two films. Chris Pratt delivers a heroic performance as Peter Quill/Star-Lord/ who hatches the best plan to save his friend and the universe all at once.
Zoe Saldana as Gamora was also excellent in her role. However, she is not the Gamora you met in the previous two Guardians movies. She has come from a different timeline and is now a prominent member of Stakar Ogord’s Ravagers and is clearly a bit confused about the bumbling boy Peter Quill, who is still not over the death of his paramour. Yes, nothing as such is cooking between the duo.
The rest of the cast, including Dave Bautista, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper, were awe-inspiring. The return of these characters helped keep things connected and exciting at the farewell of the franchise.
With the subject of the story, I think James Gunn has offered a well-written plot and a satisfying conclusion to the audience. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 plot revolves around a team of misfits and their encounter with the High Evolutionary and his forces. Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, helps Kraglin and Cosmo to connect with the High Evolutionary’s ship and free the captive children, while on the other side, Rocket is attacked by the High Evolutionary. With god’s grace or, say, Guardian’s grace, he is saved.
As the Guardians return to Knowhere, their headquarters, the team decides to disband once and for all. Peter Quill hands over his charge to Rocket, whereas Mantis embarks on her self-discovery journey. Gamora is on cloud nine to reunite with her Ravagers’ group, and Drax and Nebula are kind enough to stay on Knowhere to treat the rescued children. This way, all good things came to an end with the Guardian’s story.
But do you want to catch up on the soundtrack and special effects? Well, they certainly didn’t disappoint. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 features some jaw-dropping set pieces, including a thrilling battle that takes place to rescue the inhabitants giving us all a dazzling finale.
Even on the soundtrack, I think it’s 9/10 and takes the film’s upbeat vibe to another level. Mainly Radiohead’s Creep, which matched the film’s tone from the very beginning.
Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 fully lived up to what we expected after the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol trailer. The story is literally action-packed and is well-suited for audiences of all ages. Each of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 cast adds to the depth of the story with their unique trait, powers, and weaknesses.
One of the most outshined moments of the story was Mantis’s ability to persuade Abilisks, which showcases the true strengths of communication in overcoming obstacles to fulfill a mission.
On the one hand, where the Guardian of the Galaxy Vol 3 mid-credit scene shows the Guardians team of a fully grown Groot, Cosmo, Kraglin, and others forging on a new mission, the end credit scenes showcase Chris Pratt/Peter Quill rekindling with his human family bringing his journey to full circle.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is the best popcorn flick of Marvel Studios so far that brings out the rollercoaster ride of the Guardians in the most fantastic manner. If you are a fan of the Guardians universe, you cannot resist falling for the franchise’s final chapter. Trust me; it’s the perfect dose of heart and humor you should not miss watching in theatres.
