Ant Man and The Wasp Quantumania Trailer: Scott Lang and Kang the Conqueror Reaches at Loggerheads

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer

Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer is the third solo Ant-Man film in the MCU franchise, starring American actor Paul Rudd in the titular suit of Ant-Man. It’s been eight years since the Marvel comic character became a part of the marvel cinematic universe. Our first cute modern-day meeting with the superhero took place in 2015 on the release of Ant-Man in global theatres. Thereby, Marvel Studios picked up the threads with Ant Man and the Wasp in 2018, and today Peyton Reed is finally here to conclude the Ant-Man trilogy but in a new dynasty. Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania is now set for closure only to serve as a starting point for Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Contemplating so, on Tuesday, 10th January 2023, Marvel Studio premieres its newest Ant Man 3 trailer, teasing the beginning of a new era. The February 2023 superhero film is designed to come as a necessary debut in the old Marvel dynasty. On the one hand, where the 2018’s Ant-Man acted as a handbook of the Quantum realm, the 2023’s Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania will introduce us to the MCU Phase five villain. Get ready for a new roller-coaster ride!

Wondering who else it is? This time it’s Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror who’ll grace the stage as the new antagonist. Kang made his first appearance with the Disney+ series Loki and later plunged into Ant Man, becoming an MCU Kang. After he takes on a major fight with Scott Lang, his character will develop in the upcoming years, where we will see him in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers Secret Wars.

Ant Man and The Wasp Quantumania Trailer- A Beginning Of A New Dynasty

Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer

The newest trailer of Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania opens with Scott Lang’s monologue documenting his journey from a convicted felon to becoming an Avenger. While the first trailer gave fans an idea of a new Quantum realm, the second trailer brings forth a prominent appearance of the film’s antagonist Kang the Conqueror.

As the video progresses, MCU Kang appears to Lang and says- I am the man who can give you the one thing you want. While Scott asks him about the thing, Kang replies- Time. That being said, Kang promises Scott Lang to cover up the time he lost with his daughter and makes the latter fall into a trance. And, while Scott’s friends are in continuous denial to not accept Kang’s bid, the Ant Man could only think of compensating for being an absent father to Cassie, who is now played by Kathryn Newton.

But do you think Kang Can actually bring back the time Scott lost with Cassie? If we go with what Janet Van Dyne said about the powerful villain, Kang can rewrite existence and shatter timelines the way he wants. Hmm, Janet knows a lot about him. But how come she has such details about Kang? Is there something about Janet we don’t know yet? Of course, there is. If you remember, in the last trailer, she was seen saying- there is something you don’t know.

What’s next is a Quantumania realm which is much bigger than anyone could have ever imagined. Some distinct landscapes, enemies, and monstrous creatures seek to wreak havoc, prompting action sequences ahead. No doubt, Peyton Reed has pulled his shocks well to eradicate Ant-Man from being an MCU palate cleanser this time. As planned, he successfully expands the Quantum universe throughout the shattered timelines. Before we move ahead, what do you think about the two Ant Mans we just saw in the trailer? Do you think Paul Rudd played a double role in the film? Let’s wait for a few more days to solve this puzzle.

The end clips of Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania trailer call for final closure, as Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror seems to betray Scott Lang. While the helpless father reminds him, saying- We had a deal; it’s too late to get back the lost time. A strike for the ultimate brawl is finally thrown. Hmm, Kang is one terrifying force here. Think before messing up with him. But wait. Who is this new Scott Lang’s ally? Is it Cassie appearing in the fully armored battle pose? What will happen now? Will Scott Lang win over Kang and return the lost time with his daughter? We’re certainly leaving it to the film to answer.
